I am Melissa Chow and I am a graphic and web designer currently residing in Calgary, Alberta.
Throughout my high school and post secondary studies, I have developed and improved my skills in programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash. I have also become fluent in coding XHTML and CSS.

I am twenty-one years old and have lived in Calgary all of my life. One of my dreams is to live abroad and support myself by freelancing. I love travelling to new places to take in the unique beauty each area has to offer. A few of the countries I had the opportunity to visit are: China, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, France and Italy. For my next big trip, I would love to visit Japan and South Korea.
In my spare time, I love to sit back and catch up on movies and TV series. My current favourite series are The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. I also enjoy playing casual video games including MapleStory, Pokemon, Professor Layton, and most recently, Dance Dance Revolution. Besides sitting (or dancing) in front of a screen, I enjoy food (cooking and eating), reading, making crafts, and practicing languages. I am of Chinese descent however I am shamefully not very fluent. One of my goals is to learn how to fluently read, write and speak in both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese as well as to gain conversational skills in Japanese and Korean.
